Daisies are the easiest flower to press badly. Squash them too hard and the petals fuse; leave them too long and the yellow goes brown. The ones in these earrings were caught at the right point petals still distinct, centres still properly yellow and then sealed into black resin, which shows up every bit of that detail. Baby’s breath sits between them in small clusters, breaking up the spacing so the panel doesn’t look laid out on a grid.
Frame-wise: golden alloy, cut to a diamond, with a kundan lotus stud sitting at the earlobe. The fringe underneath is the loudest part black onyx-style beads alternating with white pearl clusters, tapering down to a point. Plenty of swing.
Where they go: black kurtas, ivory or cream sarees, a formal shirt, anything monochrome. The gold keeps them from reading as strictly evening wear, so you can take them to an office day out too.
