Sundried Aster Resin Jhumka The aster in these earrings is a real bloom, pressed flat and dried before it was set. Asters hold their petal shape well, which is why the fine spokes around the mustard centre stay crisp under resin rather than collapsing into a blur. Sitting against a deep coral background with a faint shimmer running through it, the flower reads clearly even from across a room.
The frame is silver kundan a floral stud at the ear, then a round chandbali disc below it, ringed with small white pearls set close together. Along the lower edge, peach glass beads and pearl droplets hang on short chains, so there’s a soft movement and a light click when you turn your head. Each disc is poured, cured and set by hand.
These work well with anything in the coral, rust, peach or off-white family a cotton saree, a plain kurta you want to lift, or something silk for a wedding function. They’re statement-sized but light enough for a full day, so festive wear and ordinary Tuesdays both make sense.
One thing worth knowing: no two asters dry the same way. Petal count, the exact tilt of the bloom, how deep the mustard centre reads all of it shifts slightly from flower to flower. The pair you receive will be close to the photographs, not identical to them, and that’s the nature of working with something that actually grew.
